(1) The Porsche Carrera Cup Japan
http://www.porsche.com/japan/jp/motorsportandevents/motorsport/
This was started in 2001 as the fastest One Make Race in Japan.
The machines are Type 997 and 911 GT3 Cup cars with a conventional Porsche 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, and the race gets ever more exciting by the year.
(2) The Netz Cup Vitz Race
This was started in 2000 to open up a new level of racing with the concept of using Vitz, cars that normally drive around town. It is Japan's first One Make Race for number-plated cars. Anyone with enthusiasm, a Vitz RS "TRD Racing" (1.5 liters, 5-speed manual transmission) and a Class A Japanese driving licence can compete.
The time schedule including the support races will be made public when it has been decided.
